As we've said, the demo contest this year was insanity. With over 120 submissions, we were overwhelmed by the talent, the variety, and the competition that we had to work with. Choosing our winners was tough, but we made it. After much coddling.

Without further ado, meet another of our top winners, The Prams. Their sound stuck with us from the get go. A married folk duo (they even have a blog), Alta and Jesse Keller currently reside in Minneapolis and are working towards their debut album. When asked to describe the album in one word, they compromised with "vibey-folk."

"Some songs I have written alone and some Alta has written alone. But it's great to have two people looking at the song to try to get an unbiased opinion. It helps when someone else can be asking the question, "does that lyric really make sense, and bring across the message we want to say?" Jesse says of their songwriting process. The pair's current musical inspiration includes Two Door Cinema Club, The Civil Wars, Angus & Julia Stone, and The 1975.

Check out their music video for their track Monster to get a taste of their sound. We can't wait to collaborate with this talented pair.
