Continuing our series of posts featuring the illustrious winnerds of our 2015 demo contest

Humans, meet Beasthead.

The four piece electronic indie rock band has been around kicking ass for about two years now and their song "Sticker on Your Brain" impressed us so much that we decided that they deserve to make a sweet music video directed by Joe McMahon. So keep your lil eyes peeled for that project in the future.

A synthy track featuring heavily autotuned vocals and buttery harmonies, "Sticker on Your Brain" caught our ears for its tight beats and ethereal combination of voices and synths that move the listener from sweet to dissonant and back again. Its a journey we can't wait to see translated into video form.

Here's another lil taste:

These dudes would probably be sweet guests at a dinner party, too. Harry the lead vocalist and Doug on synths both have degrees in Biology and Physics respectively. Nick on guitar manages a pizza shop (free pizza??!!?!), and Paul the bassist is a graphic designer whose awesome skills are evidenced in the band's cool posters and logos. Basically, we want to be their best friends.

Beasthead has some solid plans for 2015, including musical collaborations with local hip hop group Glow Mechanics and a summer tour in the works. Their next show is happening at the Turf Club on April 10th with Mark Mallman, Step Rockets, and John Swardson. Ch-ch-check it out.
